On Trooping the Colour 2014 parade, Duchess wore a bespoke outfit from her go-to label Alexander McQueen. The ensemble consists of an ice blue jacket and skirt. (it could be a dress beneath the jacket we would never know if Catherine never wears it again).
Carly from KateMiddletonStyle Blog noted that the jacket seems to be a customised version of label’s ‘silk cotton jacquard Peplum jacket‘. Catherine’s fauna silk-cotton jacquard jacket featured more modest front hook/ eyes closure, long sleeves finished four button detailing at the cuffs.
From Carly’s post, “Both pieces feature a peplum, are created from jacquard material and have very similar notched collars. Kate’s jacket (which was likely a bespoke piece) featured more pronounced shoulders, higher fastenings on the front and the fun pleated back has been removed.” Read more about the outfit on her post here.
