As the formal occasions demand, Queen Letizia was dressed to nines. For the occasion, Queen brought some really elegant pieces from her royal wardrobe back. She chose a black and white embroidered mermaid skirt by Lorenzo Caprile with a black sleeveless top from the same label. The skirt is made of a Manila shawl.

Queen wore this skirt with a white satin top in 2004 for US Visit and again brought it back in 2006 for a Luxembourg visit with the same black sleeveless top she wore tonight.

Queen paired her outfit with royal jewels. She chose Queen Sofia’s “Mellerio Floral” tiara, and the joyas de pasar diamond Cartier bracelets with diamond and pearl dangling earrings.
