On the 2nd day of her cooperation trip to Senegal, Queen Letizia visited the city of Ziguinchor. She was there to observe the work carried out by the Spanish Cooperation in the West African country.
The Queen received a gift from a child upon her arrival in Ziguinchor.
Letizia was welcomed by a group of eagerly waiting for women at the University.
She was at the University of Assane Seck’s Faculty of Medicine, to attend the launch of the Training Project of health agents on female genital mutilation in Casamance, which has the financing of the AECID.

Later, the Queen visited the family agroecological farm “Naatangué”, located in the commune of Oussouye, in the region of Casamance.
This agricultural facility is a sample of the work carried out by the AECID with its Senegalese institutional partner, the National Agency for Agricultural Insertion and Development (ANIDA), and is part of the project for “Improvement of Small Family Farms Integrated Naatangue Farms in Casamance”, financed with One million euros for the AECID.

Spanish Queen ended her day in Ziguinchor region with a meeting with volunteers in the Casamance area, at the La Paillote hotel, where she was able to talk to them and inform her of the projects that are being carried out in the area.
For the day, 45-year-old stylish Queen of Spain Letizia kept her looks low-key. It was perfectly suitable for the sensitive visit.
She wore a khaki green blouse that is yet to be identified and her cream Massimo Dutti crepe trousers.
She paired her outfit with a block heeled oxford shoes that are part of her wardrobe for a long time. She finished her looks with small diamond stud earrings.
