Today, the fans and followers of Royal Family got a big Christmas treat when Clarence House and Kensington Palace released the Christmas Pictures of this year. The pictures will also appear on this year’s Christmas Cards.
The picture of Cambridge family was telling a story of happy family. The whole family was clad in blue and green colour coordinated ensembles. William and Catherine are sitting on a tree branch while Charlotte and George are standing on the same branch. George, I must emphasis on ‘in Pants’, has one arm around his father, while William has one protective arm around his little Princess.
We cannot miss the mega watt smile on Catherine’s face who is holding her mini me almost 8 months old Louis. Picture was taken by Matt Porteous in autumn at the Duke and Duchess’ country residence Anmer Hall. The pic shows a happy family having fun time outdoors. William and Catherine love being outdoor, and in this pic it look likes their kids have inherited that love from them. You can see grass stains on George and Charlotte’s shoes.
You all must remember Matt Porteous, who famously took the pictures of family at the christening of Prince Louis in July this year. We cannot forget this lovely shot he took that day.
Do you recognize the cardigan Princess Charlotte is wearing. It’s the same cardigan that we fist saw on Prince George in 2016 in Queen’s 90th birthday Portrait.
Charlotte wore it for the first time in the official portrait Duke and Duchess released this year in May to mark Charlotte’s 3rd birthday and Louis’ birth.
Catherine is wearing green Övik Re-Wool Sweater W from Fjallraven that she debuted in October this year when she resumed her royal duties after 6 months of maternity leave by visiting Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden at Paddington Recreation Ground.
It looks like she is also wearing her Asprey London Oak Leaf Small Hoop earrings that she wore at Wimbledon this year in July.
It was such a happy moment to see William and Catherine with their kids. Next week Queen Elizabeth II will be holding annual Christmas lunch that will be attended by the extended royal family. We will see Duke and Duchess arriving hopefully with kids. I will leave you with this old memory of Cambridge Family to ponder how far we have come.
