Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the closing of the Seminar for Journalists and Communicators “How the Media can help repopulate Rural Spain” at El Bugo Cathedral square. The seminar was held with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the perception of the rural environment and the rural development policy through the media.

The National Rural Network (NRN), together with El Hueco, has organized the training seminar for journalists and communicators called “How the media can help repopulate rural Spain”, held in the Spanish province most affected by depopulation, Soria, specifically in the space of entrepreneurship and social innovation of El Hueco Oxma.

Upon arrival, Queen briefly toured the cathedral before joining the seminar.

The closing ceremony opened with a roundtable conversation on the role of media in rural Spain that was concluded with a video presentation about The National Rural Network. This seminar aims to contribute to improving the perception of the rural environment and rural development policy through the media. Rural journalists are indispensable allies in the challenge of revitalizing rural Spain and, as far as possible, to stop and reverse the process of depopulation, according to the organizers.

Letizia greeting the members of the public gathered outside to see her.

For the event, Queen Letizia chose a look that is one of the fan favourites.

She wore an ensemble from Hugo Boss having ‘Frankie’ dark red cuff detail wool sweater with the ‘Trima’ dark red cropped wide-leg trousers.

We first time saw the outfit in March this year at the meeting with scientists and researchers at the Royal Palace of El Pardo in Madrid.

Letizia paired the outfit with Lodi burgundy pumps that she has in her wardrobe for a long time.

Her Gold and Roses earrings finished the look.
