Then the royal family was joined by Queen Sofia to receive an audience from the jury members of the Princess of Asturias Foundation, its board of members, various patron and the winner of Princess of Asturias Awards 2019.
The awards ceremony is considered one of the most important cultural events on the international agenda. Throughout its history, these awards have received different recognitions, such as the extraordinary declaration that UNESCO made in 2004 for its exceptional contribution to the cultural heritage of Humanity.
The high neck grey dress from label’ Autumn-winter 2019 ready-to-wear collection features long voluminous sleeves, a pussy-bow high-neckline and embroidery on the front of the bodice in red, mustard, white and black.
It seems Letizia was determined to give the event an iconic look so she brought back the diamond earrings that she wore on her wedding in May 2004. The earrings were a gift from Felipe’s parents King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia.
