The Royal couple was seen chatting with former Tennis champions, Martina Navratilova and Billie Jean King. The Duchess of Cambridge is a keen tennis lover. Prince George and Princess Charlotte are already playing tennis at the Anmer Hall court following their Mummy’s steps. The Tennis Champion Roger Federer is a Middleton Family friend. In 2017, talking about her love for the game, The Duchess of Cambridge said,

I think it really inspires youngsters, myself, it inspired me, when I was younger, to get involved in the game. It hasn’t changed either, I think that’s what’s so wonderful. You know everyone’s still there in their whites, Wimbledon still looks as amazing as it did as I remember it as a youngster, you’ve got the strawberries and cream. And, you know, every time Wimbledon is on I’m there thinking, ‘Yes, I can do, I can do the same’. Get that racket. Sadly never, never the same results.

Ashleigh Barty, the world No.1, is Australia’s first Australian female Wimbledon singles champion in 41 years. Barty defeated Karolina Pliskova in an absorbing three-set encounter between two debutant finalists.

The dress seems to be a bespoke version of the label’s Denver Sleeveless Cloque Midi Dress. Catherine had the midi dress altered with the sleeves and bodice that seem to be from the label’s Darcey dress and Melinda gown. Thanks to UfonoMore for pointing out that fine detail. The luxurious cloqué dress features cap sleeves, a tailored bodice with a pleated skirt.
