After spending 3 days and 3 nights in Belize, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left the beautiful Caribbean country for the next leg of their first-ever Caribbean tour. The couple who stayed at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel last night departed from Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport of Belize city in the RAF Voyager.
William and Catherine arrived at the airport via helicopter. Last night, Prince William held a small investiture at the resort before the reception. The highlight of the investiture was the beautiful painting presented to The Duke.
Alex Sanker, an artist from the Indian creek area where The Duke and Duchess were originally scheduled to visit on day one, painted a picture of the couple. It’s been suggested that the painting would be coming to the UK with the Royal couple.
On Saturday after spending time with the villagers at Hopkins Village, The Duke, and Duchess of Cambridge had some private time. Last night, we found out where that time was spent. The royal couple went Scuba diving at the South water Caye that is resting above the spectacular Belize Barrier reef.
Sharing the video clip from their aquatic adventure on social media, Palace wrote, “While the effects of climate change are evident, the Government of Belize and communities across the country deserve huge recognition for their efforts to restore this incredible marine environment — with a commitment to protect 30% of it by 2030…. It was a privilege to see for ourselves the world-leading ocean conservation work being done here.” Prince William narrated the video and said,
“(It’s) really fantastic to see the underwater environment here in Belize, and what wonderful work they’ve been doing to protect the coral and the fish life.’
‘Belize’s work on marine protection is world-leading, which is crucial when you’re protecting the world’s second-largest barrier reef, and in fact, it’s a Unesco World Heritage site. And it’s clear to see the Belizeans value their environment, whether it’s the marine environment or the land environment. It’s great to see that their commitments are going further and further, and we should support them and value their efforts to protect both the marine and the land environments.”
As was the motive of the tour, the three days in Belize brought many exciting and colorful events highlighting the rich diversity of Belize. Nicola Salano from Belize Tourism said, “It’s really nice just being here. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs did an amazing job with it and we’re just really happy to have the royals here. If you look over the past couple of days, you’ll see an excellent display of what Belize is. A really good cross-section in a short time. They’ve had a good whirlwind visit. It’s publicity we couldn’t possibly have. It’s tremendous in terms of tourism.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were given a royal send-off with a red carpet where a group of dignitaries waved them off.
The royal tours are important not only from a diplomatic angle but also bring us the Royal watching community many stunning style moments. Just like her arrival in the country, The Duchess of Cambridge left the country in style.
The Duchess of Cambridge was wearing a red belted Yves Saint Laurent jacket that she reportedly purchased 20 years ago during her University time. The belted jacket features multiple pockets, large buttons and has a safari touch to it.

Catherine paired it with a white Alexander McQueen’s Flared Crepe Tailored Trousers. Thanks to Bojana for the id. The trousers were described as, “These ivory trousers from Alexander McQueen’s Resort 2020 offering provide a subdued contrast to the scarlet and fuchsia taffeta creations gracing its lookbook. They’re crafted from fluid crepe and shaped close to the thigh before gently kicking at the knee for a flattering, ultra-wearable silhouette.”

Another new element of the look was Aquazzura Cece 105 mm pumps. Thanks to Royal Family 93 on Twitter for the id.

Kate Middleton Style spotted a pair of Anthropologie Gold Coral shell earrings.

Her Halcyon gold bangle which is currently available in the Royal Collection Shop was also adding a touch of glamour.

Catherine was carrying her Mulberry Small Amberley Crossbody White Small Classic Grain Bag.
