The third in line to the British throne and the first child of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, is celebrating his 09th birthday this week.

To mark the birthday, new picture was released by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. As always, the picture was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge during the family vacation earlier this month in the UK. The location of the vacation was never disclosed.

In some other exciting news, The Duke of Cambridge’s dream project The Earthshot Prizes is heading to Boston this December for the second award ceremony. We can expect The Duchess of Cambridge to join him and undertake a few other engagements in the States. This return is coming after 8 years of their last visit to the USA in December 2014. More details would be announced in due course.

Her Majesty the Queen has left Windsor Castle today and headed towards Scotland for the annual summer break. The Queen is expected to stay at Balmoral until September. We will see the members of the Royal family heading to Scotland one by one in August to spend some quality time with The Queen before the busy fall schedule.

From tomorrow, Buckingham Palace Staterooms are opening for public view. This year as part of the annual summer exhibition, many elements reflecting The Queen’s journey as the Monarch are on display at the Palace.

The Duchess of Cambridge is set to undertake one last summer engagement before the full month away from the public eye next week. Catherine will be joining the British racing team on their F50 catamaran in a friendly ‘Commonwealth Race’ v Team NZ with Sir Ben Ainslie as the patron of 1851 Trust in Plymouth on July 31st.
