The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in Jordan earlier today to attend the Royal wedding of Crown Prince Al Hussein and Rajwa Khaled at Zahran Palace. After much speculation about the RAF aircraft that landed in Amman earlier in the evening, we finally have a glimpse of The Royal couple.

In the evening an RAF Aircraft left from RAF Marham and since then there have been speculations going on about the passengers it was carrying. There was no confirmation from Buckingham Palace or Kensington Palace about who will be attending the Jordan Royal wedding. My guess was it would be The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh but I am so happy to see William and Catherine stepping up and attending a Foreign Royal event.

The couple was seen arriving at St Regis Amman –  5 Star Luxury hotel in Amman. Embracing the sophistication and timeless heritage of the world-famous St. Regis New York, The St. Regis Amman, is an established luxury hotel in Jordan’s capital city. Showcasing a 5th Circle location in the district of Abdoun, it’s moments away from noteworthy attractions in Amman. I believe St Regis is the couple’s headquarters for the visit.

Looking closely at the video clip, it seems The Princess of Wales might be wearing the same outfit that she wore when she arrived in Boston with a white top this time. An Alexander McQueen suit in purple.

It is not clear yet whether they brought their three children with them or not. My guess is yes as George, Charlotte and Louis are on school break until June 05th.

Jordan is not a new place for The Prince and Princess of Wales. Catherine spent three years of her childhood in Amman when her father was posted in Jordan. The Prince of Wales undertook a solo official visit to the country in 2016.

We can expect a Tiara appearance from the Princess at the Jordan Royal Wedding Banquet. The Jordan King and Queen will be hosting two receptions after the wedding of Crown Prince Al Hussein and Rajwa Khaled Al Saif at the Al Husseiniya Palace – first a black-tie reception and then a wedding banquet where the dress code is set to be a white-tie. So far we have seen The Princess of Wales wearing three tiaras since her wedding.

Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara is The Princess of Wales’s go-to tiara. Debuted in December 2015, the tiara originated in 1913, when Queen Mary commissioned Garrard & Co. to make a copy of the original Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara owned by her grandmother, Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel, using her own diamonds and pearls. French in its neo-classical design, the tiara has 19 oriental pearls suspended from lover’s knot bows each centred with a large brilliant.
