King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain had a busy day at the Royal Palace of Zarzuela in Madrid. The Royal Couple first met with the representatives of the Motion Picture Association and then later on presided over the board meeting of the Princess of Girona Foundation.
Motion Picture Association‘s President Charles H was was accompanied by the president and general director of the Federation of Cinematographic Dealers of Spain, Estela Artacho García-Moreno, when he arrived at the Palace to meet the Royal Couple. The Motion Picture Association (MPA) is the leading voice and advocate of the U.S. film, video and television industries. Chaired by Charles Rivkin, the MPA works around the world to foster creative industries.
Later on, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the annual Princess of Girona Foundation board meeting. During the meeting, the audit report and statement of accounts, the Activity Report by the working groups was presented. The meeting also discussed the upcoming annual Princess of Girona Foundation awards next month.
The Princess of Girona Foundation emerged with the determination to be an aid in all critical aspects of youth development and support to overcome the barriers that young people encounter in their incorporation into and for the benefit of society.
