Leonor, The Princess of Asturias, and Infanta Sofia of Spain began the Day 2 of Girona visit by meeting the young people who participates in various initiatives and programs organized by Princess of Girona Foundation. Leonor and Sofia met with group in the gardens of the Santa Clotilde in Lloret de Mar – the base of the Spanish Royal Family for this year’s Princess of Girona Foundation award visit.
Yesterday, both sisters visited the Workshop of renowned artist Jaume Plensa at Sant Feliú de Llobregat before joining their parents to meet the winners of the foundation awards from the previous seasons.
A group of 30 youngsters met with the Future Queen of Spain and her sister to share their experiences with the Princess of Girona Foundation. They discussed how the Foundation support and promote the personal and professional development and helping them to reach their maximum potential and to become source of positive change in society.
There was also a musical performance by the program “Generation art”.
Later in the afternoon, after attending the Advisory Council meeting with their parents, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia also attended a special event organized by Deloitte “Professional Impact of Artificial Intelligence on young people”. The president of Deloitte Spain and patron of FPdGi, Héctor Flórez discussed this special report explaining the use of AI among young people and its impact.
