The Future Queen of Spain, Princess Leonor, before heading to Mallorca, visited the University of Zaragoza, where she signed the book of honour to mark her one year of military training at the General Military Academy. The Spanish Government curated a special curriculum for the Princess of Asturias in 2023 so that she can finish the usual 5 years long military training in 3 years and then head to continue the University education.
Leonor completed the first year of military training in June this year and her father, King Felipe, presented her with the graduation credentials in a formal ceremony in July. Signing the book of honour, Leonor wrote, “I am very grateful to the University of Zaragora, where the University Defense Center is attached, for all the support provided during this course and for contributing to my academic foundation. With love, Leonor”.
The Spanish Royal Family has already moved to the Balearic Island where they will be staying at the Marivant Palace for next few weeks. Both Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia will be heading to Paris with their parents for the Olympic games. At the end of August, Princess Leonor will head to Marine Naval School to continue her Military training with the Spanish Navy.
