Queen Letizia of Spain attended the annual Cervantes Institute Board Meeting at the City Council in Barcelona. The Spanish Royal Family had a busy July and this was the fourth engagement in the Catalonia for the Royals after Princess Leonor’s visit to Lleida for a military event and Sant Feliú de Llobregat, Leonor and Sofia’s visit to the Jaume Plensa workshop and the Princess of Girona Foundation awards in Lloret de Mar.
Queen Letizia has been actively involved in the workings of the Cervantes Institute. During the meeting, Letizia was briefed on the 2024 activities and the plan for the next year.
From Barcelona, Letizia headed to the Palma while King Felipe along with Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia had already moved to Balearic Island over the weekend for the summer break.
This Thursday, The King and Queen will be traveling to Paris to attend the Olympic opening ceremony and other engagements.
