King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor of Spain were at the Military Naval School (ENM) in Marin, Pontevedra for the Flag Oath as well as the Graduation ceremony. Yesterday, The Royal Family welcomed the Spanish Football team to the Royal Palace after their win at the Euro Cup 2024. Princess Leonor so far has has a very busy schedule.
76 ladies and knights first-year students of Naval school participated in the Flag Oath Ceremony in front of the royal Family and pledged their allegiance to the Crown and Spanish Constitution. 111 students of the four bodies of the Navy (General, Marine Corps, Intendency and Engineers), along with 11 of other nationalities, such as Saudi Arabia and Peru received the final credit after finishing their Navy training at the School. Today’s event also coincided with the celebration of the feast of Carmen Day, patron saint of the Spanish Navy.
The Naval school is one of the high profile Spanish Navy training center. Beginning from next month, Princess Leonor will also join the Spanish Navy training for an year and will be back at the same School in few week as the Marine Guard. Leonor will be staying at the center for the rest of the year and in January will be on board of Spanish Navy ship Juan Sebastian Elcan for six months long training.
While King Felipe chose his Navy uniform, Princess Leonor was wearing her General Military uniform. Leonor just finished her first year of military training in June this year at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza.
