Spanish Royal Family welcomed Spain Football Team after EURO Cup win

King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia of Spain welcomed the new EURO Cup champions, Spanish Football Team, at the Royal Palace of Zarzuela in Madrid. On Sunday evening, Spain went head on against England at the 2024 EURO Cup final in Berlin and won the match with 2-1. Both King Felipe and Infanta Sofia of Spain were present at the Olympic Stadium of Berlin to watch their national team winning the cup.

On Monday, accompanied by the President of Spanish Football and other authorities, the winning team was the guest at the Royal Palace where they were welcomed by the Spanish Royal Family and congratulated on their win after 12 years.

The Spanish Royal Palace also shared two lovely photos of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia of Spain holding the EURO Cup trophies – one from this year and one from 12 years ago.

The UEFA European Football Championship, less formally the European Championship and informally the Euro Cup, is the primary association football tournament organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The competition is contested by UEFA members’ senior men’s national teams. This year the cup started on June 14 with final battle happening on July 14 between Spain and England.
