Queen Letizia of Spain has made a return to the media house – this time it was to launch a groundbreaking service – Live Radio for people with Hearing disability. The Spanish Queen had remained a strong supporter of the people with various physical disabilities and have been working with many organizations that works towards the betterment of the people affected.

Letizia arrived at the Prado del Rey in Madrid this morning to launch the service that was first tested in February 2023. The initiative is the result of a collaboration between RTVE and Royal Patronato on Disability (Ministry of Social Rights and 2030 Agenda).

Letizia pressed the button to launch the radio service and then sat behind the microphone for the first live broadcast of the service. The Gorgeous Queen has a successful career behind her as a journalist hence she understands the important of media in day to day life. Talking about the service, Letizia praised the efforts of all involved and thanked them for life changing effort.

Before leaving, Letizia met with the authorities, councillors and directors of RTVE and representatives of associations of deaf people. She also toured the radio facilities and room 101 from where the service will be provided as of this Monday.
Next we will see Queen Letizia on Saturday when she leaves for Jordan for three days long official visit with King Felipe.
