Queen Letizia of Spain made a return to the Royal duties in Madrid after the weekend in Asturias and opened the exhibition ‘Shoots of Goya’ at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando. In Asturias, Royal Family attended the traditional Princess of Asturias Foundation awards.
The exhibition itself serves as an intellectual dialogue between the works of Francisco Goya and contemporary artist Lita Cabellut, exploring themes of human experience and societal critique. This initiative not only celebrates the legacy of Goya but also brings Cabellut’s powerful contemporary vision into conversation with it, creating a compelling narrative that captivates art lovers and casual visitors alike.
Letizia toured the exhibition and learnt about the various art works on display.
