Catherine, The Princess of Wales, attended a very special engagement at Windsor Castle this week. Prince William was visiting London Air Ambulance with David Beckham and he found about one cancer patient, Liz Hatton. Liz has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and doctors gave her a 3 years lifeline. She decided to live the dream of being a photographer.

Prince William invited Liz to cover an Investiture that he was going to hold at Windsor Castle on October 02nd. And Liz decided to cover it. When Kate found out about Liz, she decided to meet her and her family at Windsor Castle.
Kate Middleton, herself, is a cancer survivor and just finished her chemotherapy last month. Talking about her experience of meeting with the Prince and Princess of Wales, Liz told BBC4, “It was a massive shock. None of us were really expecting it necessarily — except for my little brother apparently, who was informed beforehand. Kate walked in with William just after the investiture was over”.
It was one of the few engagements Princess Kate has undertaken in the recent weeks since finishing her cancer treatment. She held a meeting with the Advisory board of Royal Foundation for Early Childhood in September followed by a meeting to discuss the planning of Christmas Carol that she is intending to host in December this year.

Kate also attended a private matinee performance of Giselle by the English National Ballet in London last week. She shared a note of thanks and congratulations on Kensington Palace social media.
