Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited the King Hussein School of Computing Sciences at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) on Tuesday, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. She was welcomed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, PSUT’s founder, and President Wejdan Abu Elhaija, who guided her on a tour of the school. Established in 2005, the school offers degrees in fields like Computer Science, AI, and Cybersecurity, with a 96% employability rate among graduates and international accreditations.
During her visit, Queen Rania attended IT and AI lectures, where students showcased projects using AI to tackle societal challenges and simulated real-time cyber-attacks. She also interacted with students at the university’s canteen.
PSUT, founded in 1991, is home to the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE), which promotes innovation and entrepreneurship. Since 2009, the university has celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week to inspire future entrepreneurs and foster international collaborations in technology and research.
