King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain inaugurated the 45th International Tourism Fair, a global meeting point for tourism professionals. Better known as FITUR, which takes place from 22 to 26 January 2025 at the IFEMA MADRID fairground. Upon their arrival, Felipe and Letizia were received by the president of the IFEMA Executive Committee, José Vicente de los Mozos.
The King and Queen their tour at FITUR in Pavilion 10 with a visit to the EUROPCAR booth, followed by the FITUR Organizing Committee, to continue through the IBERIA stand. FITUR is the global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading fair for the receptive and issuing markets of Ibero-America. A global reference event in the tourism sector that includes great diversity and talent making it possible for fully specialized areas to exist within this meeting.
This 45th edition, which is held in Ifema Madrid from 22 to 26 January, reflects the positive balance of the industry, and revalidates the leadership of FITUR as the first fair in the world by participants and attendees., according to the organizers. It has a wide institutional and sector representation: 9,500 participating companies, 156 countries and 884 headline exhibitors that will deploy their offer in 9 pavilions, highlighting the 101 countries with official representation.
