Princess Leonor of Spain’s life on Sea for Navy Training

The Princess of Asturias, Leonor, is on her journey as a marine guard at the Juan Sebastian School Ship of Elcano as part of her Navy training. CasaReal shared many pictures of the future Queen of Spain from the ship journey in which we can see Princess Leonor participating in the regular day to day activities as the marine guard. As part of her Royal training, Leonor is currently undergoing three years long Military training that covers all aspects of the Spanish Military. After completing one year at the Zaragoza Academy in May 2024, Leonor joined the Marine Naval School (ENM) in Marin, Pontevedra to continue the second year of her Military Training.

At the beginning of the January, Princess Leonor boarded the Naval Military School Ship from the Port of Cadiz. King Felipe and Queen Letizia were among the parents of many other cadets. The Ship departed with a formal send off. The Student Ship Juan Sebastian de Elcano set to sail America for the next 6 months covering approximately 20K miles.

In the next few weeks, the ship arrived at the ports of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas where Princess Leonor had lunch with the local authorities. From the Canaria, the ship is setting out for Brazil. The ship is scheduled to be back in Spain in July after cruising through the sea covering Peru, Panama, Colombia and Santo Domingo, and New York.
