The event, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the Dexeus Mujer Foundation, celebrated advancements in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine. The spotlight was on Professor Arri Coomarasamy, awarded for his groundbreaking research on postpartum hemorrhage prevention, and Valeria Tubita, whose innovative study on HER2-positive endometrial cancer secured this year’s scholarship. Professor Arri Coomarasamy is the professor of Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine of the Department of Metabolism and Systems Science of the University of Birmingham and main promoter of the E-MOTIVE study, which has developed a new method of rapid diagnosis and combined treatment of postpartum hemorrhage (HPP) in vaginal delivery.
