King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the second annual board meeting of the Royal Collections Gallery at the Royal Palace of Madrid. The King and Queen are the Honorary Presidents of the board. The Royal Collection Gallery is part of the National Heritage Board.
The meeting discussed the President’s report, the progress of public-private collaboration to finally present balance sheet 2024 and the goals for 2025 of the Gallery of the Royal Collections. The Royal Board aims to support and provide technical advice to the National Heritage Board of Directors in relation to the Royal Collection Gallery.
The Gallery has a brilliant collection that showcases the royal history and journey to the world. Built in the monumental complex of the Royal Palace of Madrid as a finish of the cornice that opens to the park of Campo del Moro from the Plaza de la Armería, The Royal Collection Gallery constitutes the most important state project of the museum policy of recent decades in Spain.
