Queen Letizia of Spain attended the 31st Spanish Film Festival in Tudela, Navarra. This year’s film festival marks the 40th anniversary of Mario Camus’ film “The Holy Innocent,” based on the work of Miguel Delibes. The new edition of the Spanish Film Show of Tudela was held from 17 to 21 February.
Queen Letizia received a very warm welcome from the locals upon her arrival outside the Moncayo cinema in the Navarre town . Letizia stopped to greet the locals, and stood for many photographs and selfies.
Organized by the Cine Club Muskaria and the Local Business Public Entity, Tudela-Cultura, this edition is distinguished by paying tribute to actor Eduard Fernández and director Jonás Trueba, two fundamental figures in the current film scene.
The festival continues to bet on the film formation of young people. Moral screenings have been scheduled for educational establishments, including the homage to the Innocent Saints, on 21 February and a meeting with Eduard Fernández on the 18th.
