Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan had a sunny outing in the North Jordan. Al Hussein and Rajwa visited archeological site of Umm Qais. Sharing a picture and video clips on his social media, Al Hussein wrote, “There is nothing like spring in the north of Jordan.” Umm Qais, also known as Qays, is a town in northern Jordan principally known for its proximity to the ruins of the ancient Gadara. It is the largest city in the Bani Kinanah Department and Irbid Governorate in the extreme northwest of the country, near Jordan’s borders with Israel and Syria.
Dressed in casual attire, the Royal couple enjoyed the day out the Northern border. Last week, the Future King and Queen of Jordan made a private visit to Bahrain where they were received by the Bahrain King. The couple also brought their 7-months old daughter, Princess Iman, during the visit.
