The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has named a stunning floribunda rose, Catherine’s Rose, in honour of the Princess of Wales, Catherine. The RHS announced the initiative to raise awareness of the role that spending time outdoors plays in supporting people’s mental, physical and spiritual well being.  Princess Kate has always been a strong champion of the positive impact of nature on physical, emotional and mental health. With the news, Kensington Palace released a new picture of Princess Kate which was taken during her visit to Isle of Mull in April this year.

Bred by Harkness Roses, Catherine’s Rose is a floribunda variety featuring abundant, subtle coral-pink blooms and is described as vibrant and elegant, making it a glorious addition to any garden. The rose carries a rich perfume with distinctive notes of Turkish Delight and mango, adding a sensory delight to its aesthetic appeal.  Versatile and easy to grow, the rose thrives in various settings, including mixed borders, hedges, large containers, or rose beds.
