First Lady Melania Trump hosted the children of the staff in the Executive Office for the White House’s annual ‘Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day’ celebration in the the Kennedy Garden. Melania joined the children for a patriotic arts and crafts activity during which children decorated the wooden American flags with red and blue markers, star stickers, and fluffy red, white, & blue pom-pom balls. The event came after Melania joined the President Trump in signing the “TAKE IT DOWN” Act at White House yesterday.
They day transformed the iconic gardens into a vibrant hub of creativity and learning. The event, steeped in patriotism and community spirit, provided a unique opportunity for young participants to engage with the inner workings of the White House while enjoying hands-on activities and a touch of presidential flair.
The event aligns with Melania’s ongoing initiative ‘Be Best’ that focuses on youth well-being, combating cyber bullying and combating revenge porn. The initiative that was launched int he first Trump term works towards teaching young children the importance of social, emotional, and physical health with focus on three main pillars: well-being, online safety, and opioid abuse.
