King Charles III is the current head of the Royal Family who ascended to the throne on September 08th 2022 after the demise of his mother Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Elizabeth II was the longest-reigning Monarch in British History followed by Queen Victoria. Queen Elizabeth II became the Queen in 1952 and remained the same until her death in 2022.
