Catherine was seen wearing Aquatalia Rouge Boots on her first engagement in Wales in February 2011. Featuring a classic silhouette the ankle boots have a three-and-a-quarter-inch heel, a three-quarter-inch platform and strap/buckle detailing and are fully insulated with a plaid fabric lining. Made from waterproof suede they also had a full inside zipper and rubber outsoles.
The shoes were a huge success so the company decided to relaunch the boots and named them Royal.
