The Princess of Wales, Catherine wore the Jane Taylor Pillbox Crepe Halo Hat in September 2022 at the State Lyin-in Service for the Queen.
The £1910 Made-to-order hat was described as, “This stunning piece mixes together two of our most widely adored styles, the halo, and the pillbox, hence the name. Sitting neatly tilted towards the back of the head, it echoes that of a halo in its form and posture and is finished with a feminine bow and the crown of the head covered. It is crafted from textured crepe making it a trans-seasonal piece and can be made with a satin bow and a birdcage veil.” Catherine’s hat was customized with a veil.
