The Duchess of Cambridge wore Lock & Co. Mayfair Pillbox hat in March 2022 at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The hat was a custom version of the black hat shown below.
The £825.00 hat was described as “The Mayfair pillbox hat is a Lock & Co. classic, reinvented. This pillbox hat is light as a feather and incredibly comfortable. Wear this hat to winter weddings, special events, or simply out with the girls.” The pillbox design features an indented domed crown and is trimmed with a knotted bow at the side. It fastens with an adjustable elastic at the nape of the neck and is made to be worn at an angle.
