Description
In February 2015, Catherine wore Somerset by Alice Temperley Boat Print Dress to 1851 Trust and Ben Ainslie Racing in Portsmouth. The figure-hugging dress featured short elbow-length sleeves, a round neckline and a subtly tapered bodice. The dress was described as, ” Add a whimsical touch to your new-season wardrobe with this Boat Print Dress from Somerset by Alice Temperley. A feminine shift dress crafted with short elbow sleeves, this opulent design features a beautiful figure-skimming fit, a flattering round neckline and a subtly tapered bodice for added elegant appeal. The dress is finished with a delicate all-over print that boasts little red sailboats with white sails for a dainty aesthetic.”
The dress was part of Kate-effect, it was sold within 3 hours once the news of Duchess’ wearing the dress was out. It was re-released on May 2015 and once again it sold out quickly.
