York Scarves’ Maple Leaf Tartan Scarf

Description

Catherine was seen carrying York Scarves’ Maple Leaf Tartan Scarf during Canada tour in 2016. Described as,” Made exclusively for York Scarves most of these designs are registered at the Scottish Tartan Registry. They are woven in a deep classic twill weave from 100% pure cotton and suited equally to both men and women.”Maple Leaf Tartan was designed in 1964 by David Weiser to commemorate the new Canadian flag and declared an official national emblem of Canada in 2011. The four colours reflect the colours of the maple leaf as it changes through the season – green in the spring and summer, gold in the early autumn, red at the first frost, and brown after falling.

Crafted from pashmina the scarf measures 80cm. The scarf was originally costed £9.99 now sold out.   The company York Scarves are the wholesaler producers of the scarves so they don’t sell their products individually. One might be able to find a retailer at Etsy.
