Duchess of Cambridge received Robinson Pelham Earrings from her parents as a wedding gift in April 2011. She paired them with her Cartier Halo Tiara on her wedding day. Inspired from acorn and oak leaves, that symbolize the trees in Berkshire(Catherine’s birthplace and her family’s residence) that are part of the Middleton family coat of arms, the earrings were matching with the tiara echoing the scroll elements of the design.
The £15000 earrings are made of 18 karat white gold and diamonds and featured a curled diamond-set oak leaf top and a pear-shaped diamond set drop with a central articulated pave set diamond acorn.
