In January 2019, Kensington Palace announced a very fun and family project. Duchess of Cambridge was set to co-design a garden named ‘Back to Nature’ that was going to be part of May 2019’s Chelsea Flower show.
In February 2019, we received the first official details about the garden will be looking like, its aesthetic and Catherine’s motivation behind the family project.
It was not just the Duchess who was overjoyed. We, the royal watchers, were given equally happy treats one after another ahead of the big reveal in the Month of May in 2019. Palace shared the Duchess’ private visits to the garden to finalize.
Then we got beautiful pictures of the whole Cambridge clan enjoying the time in Duchess’ garden. Giving all of us a beautiful gift, Palace shared a video of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis having time of their life at Mummy’s garden. George even gave his Mummy 20 out of 10 for the beautiful garden. Then in the morning before the final reveal, Duchess again visited the garden with school children.
The display of the garden at the Chelsea Flower show was not the end of this beautiful journey. ‘Back to Nature’ Garden had a New Home in July 2019. then finally it rested peacefully at RHS Wisley in September.
