Description
The Duchess of Cambridge gave a sartorial nod to host country Bhutan in April 2014 during royal tour by wearing a Beulah London Juliet Flower Spirits Gown when she attended a reception.
The Poppy print of the dress was symbolic to the Bhutanese National flower Poppy. The £745 chiffon gown featured sheer sleeves, wrapped bodice, pleated skirt and front split for ease of movement. The Juliet gown was inspired by x-ray floral photography of Don Dudenbostel.
The gown has a similar silhouette of Duchess’s Beulah London ‘Sarai’ gown that she wore in 2011 for 100 Women in Hedge Fund Gala.
