The Duchess of Cambridge and Hold Still 2020

Whenever someone will mention The Duchess of Cambridge and COVID-19 in the same sentence, one topic will always make its presence shown – Hold Still 2020. The photography project spearheaded by the artistic Duchess was organized by the National Portrait Gallery – patronage of The Duchess of Cambridge. Hold still 2020 was one of the biggest highlights of the Royal work during COVID-19.

The Duchess of Cambridge's Hold Still 2020 is Emotional, Resilient and Historical

The photography project asked Brits to submit their pictures reflecting their lives during the pandemic lockdown. It received an overwhelming response with more than 31000 entries. The 100 of them are being displayed in a digital exhibition by the NPG.  The pictures tell a story of resilience, emotions, community, isolation, support all at the same time. Catherine gave the project a very suitable name – ‘The Portrait of the Nation’. It will be part of history and will show our upcoming generation what was life during the pandemic.
