The Royal Train Tour

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge undertook a Nationwide tour of three days on the request of the British Government in December 2020. The 1250 miles long tour saw the Royal couple thanking the UK frontline workers, organizations and communities for their generosity during the pandemic that kept the country going.

It was the first time when Prince William and Duchess Catherine used the Royal train for transportation. The train is environment friendly. In 2010 upon the request of Prince Charles of Wales, it was converted to run on used cooking oil. During the tour, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with frontline workers, volunteers, care-home staff, teachers, schoolchildren, and young people to hear about their experiences, sacrifices, and inspiring work they have done through the challenging year.
