Catherine wore a traditional Bhutanese dress Kira for the welcome ceremony in Bhutan during Royal Tour in April 2016. The Kira was designed by an unidentified designer in London with fabric woven by Kelzang Wangmo, a lady in Thimphu, Bhutan.

Kira is Bhutanese women’s National Dress – an ankle-length dress consisting of a rectangular piece of woven fabric. Traditionally the Kira was a full body length dress but these days ladies wear it a smaller version just as Catherine chose.
