Description
Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge wore Catherine Walker Tunic and Trouser in October 2019 when she arrived in Pakistan for the royal visit. It was the first time we saw Catherine in Shalwar Kameez.
The bespoke traditional turquoise attire with ombre print had a long flared full sleeves Kurti that had cowl neckline at the front and back, long strings of buttons at the sleeves and a diamond-shaped cut near elbow for easy movement. The fully lined shirt had fitted bodice and a billowy tea-length hemline. The cowl neckline was a stylish substitute for the traditional dupatta (stole) worn by Indian and Pakistani ladies with shalwar kameez.
The straight fitted trouser was another form of shalwar worn by both Indian and Pakistani Ladies.
