Catherine was seen wearing a UFO pair of deco style earrings for the first time in October 2011 at a reception for In Kind Direct Charity. It was also her first-ever solo appearance. She again wore the earrings many times. In April 2014 at a reception during Australia tour, she wore the earrings with a matching diamond deco style bracelet. At that time it was reported that the earrings and bracelet were gifted to her by Princes of Wales Charles at her wedding.
