Suzannah Budding Heart Silk Tea Dress
Catherine wore Suzannah Budding Heart Silk Tea Dress first in April 2014 underneath her Erdem Coat during Australia-New Zealand tour. She again brought back the dress when she and William took Prince George to “Sensational Butterflies” exhibition at the Natural History Museum. Two photographs from the visit were released by Clarence House on George’s first birthday.
The dress was described on Suzannah Website as,
” A Suzannah signature style. Inspired by a 1930’s ‘find’ in the Porte de Clignancourt vintage market in Paris.
The beautiful Budding Heart print has a beautiful retro vibe. Our expert printers in Como, Italy, translated this wonderful print onto beautiful silk crepe de chine exclusively for Suzannah. The cloth has a beautiful drape.
The smocking detailing at the shoulder and under the bust add a wonderful vintage charm, with the bias line of the skirt skimming to below the knee. Skirt part is lined in 100% silk habotai. The silhouette lifts the bust and flatters the body. An all-season style, working well with bare legs and peep toes, or darker opaques in winter months. Individually tailor Made in London. Each dress is pin hemmed. 100% Silk“.
