Erdem Alouette Printed Silk-Gazar Gown

Description

Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a bold and dazzling Erdem Alouette Printed Silk-Gazar Gown for 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala night in October 2015 in London. The $4560 gown crafted from crafted from silk-gazar – a heavier silk with a satin face (it’s the same silk satin fabric that was used to craft Catherine’s wedding gown) was a different choice from Catherine’s regular style.

The sleeveless gown was described as,” The claretcobalt-blue and cream floral print on Erdem’s ‘Alouette’ gown is inspired by 1960s Japanese graphics. Flawlessly cut from lustrous silk-gazar, this elegant piece is fitted at the bodice and flares below the waist into a voluminous peplum skirt”.
