On Monday King Felipe and Queen Letizia returned to their holiday heaven Palma de Mallorca to inaugurate a new palace developed by the City council of Palma and the Government of the Illes Balears.

Designed by the architect Francisco Mangado, located on the Paseo Marítimo in Palma, facing the Mediterranean Sea the building of new palace of Congresses of Palma evokes a beehive whose interior houses two auditoriums, one for 1978 people and the other for 462, an exhibition area of 2,500 M, various meeting rooms, as well as a terrace of 600m2.
After visiting the facilities provided in the new palace King and Queen uncover a commemorative plaque.
Then the royal couple went to the auditorium, where the inauguration ceremony took place, in which audiovisual presentations on the history of the Balearic archipelago were projected, on the importance of tourism in the Illes Balears, on the current and future of the islands, as well as messages of congratulation.
King Felipe addressed the gathering and praised the hard work of the team behind it.
For the opening of the tourist spot in colourful Mallorca, Queen Letizia chose a floral dress from her trusted label, Carolina Herrera, to bring the touch of regal colours to the event.
The beautiful sky blue dress is from the designer’s 2018 Resort Collection.

The red, salmon and green floral printed feminine dress features a round neck, pleated skirt with transparent sleeves covered with embroidery in floral tone and a sleek belt on the waistline.
Queen paired her outfit with nude Prada patent leather pumps that we have seen many times in the past. Letizia was carrying salmon toned smooth animal skin clutch with a gold band, by Felipe Varela (Here shown in Pink Colour).

Queen’s stunning Bulgari white gold and aquamarine diamond earrings complimented the whole look. The earrings were the gift from the label on the birth of Prince Leonor. The dress was not the only new item of Queen’s look of the day. Queen debut an elegant haircut that made her look fresh and youthful.
