King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain today presided over the opening of the 37th edition of the International Contemporary Art Fair-ARCOmadrid that during its celebration makes Madrid the art capital of the world.
The Art Fair is taking place from February 21 to 25 at the Feria de Madrid. One more year, Madrid becomes the capital of art worldwide.

Don Felipe and Doña Letizia visited the pavilions 7 and 9 of IFEMA, which host the different galleries, galleries and sections, and knew first-hand opinions and the different ways of seeing the news, from the point of view of Art as a fundamental reference.
In line with its desire for innovation and constant research, the fair does not have as its central theme a country or a region, but a concept: “The Future”, an exhibition program with a unique design that includes galleries and artists from several generations and geographical areas.
At the galleries, the royals viewed different art exhibitions.
ARCOmadrid 2018 brings together a total of 211 galleries from 29 countries, of which 160 are part of the General Program, adding to them the curated sections: “The future is not what is going to happen, but what we are going to do”, with a selection of 20 galleries; “Diálogos”, with 14 and “Opening”, with 19.
King and Queen also held a brief meeting with the members of the International Council of the ARCO Foundation.
