King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain arrived in New Orleans in Louisiana, the United States of America on Thursday afternoon to start their 5 days State Visit.
Upon arrival at the Louis Armstrong Airport, they were greeted by the Governor of the State of Louisiana, John Bel Edwards, and the Mayor of New Orleans, Latoya Cantrell while a band played the welcome the song ‘When the Saints go marching in’, – that is a very famous theme in American culture.
Along with the band, dancers dressed in local clothes gave a colourful welcome to the Spanish Monarchs.
The royal couple will start their official engagement on Friday morning with a meeting with the Governor of Louisiana.
For the arrival Queen kept her look minimal, comfortable, and stylish. She wore Hugo Boss ‘Doliana’ dress.
The rust-red dress features a vee-neckline with French cap sleeves, a detachable belt at the waistline in a fit-and-flare silhouette.
The dress also comes in multi blue leaf print.
Queen complimented the dress with nude Prada salons and her Elena Carrera butterfly earrings.
Letizia was carrying Ángel Schlesser croc-embossed flap clutch.
