On Tuesday, the Spanish King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the Funeral Mass for the Victims of severe floods at the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows in Manacor , Balearic Island.
The city of Sant Lorence was flooded by the torrential rains last on Tuesday, October 09 leaving the ordinary life severely disturbed and took lives of 13 people.
The service was led by the Bishop of Mallorca Sebastian Taltavull. Among the lost lives 7 were Spanish, 1 British, 1 Dutch and 3 German citizens.
The royal couple visited the city last Friday to meet the people who suffered from a natural catastrophe. The couple appreciated the efforts of volunteer groups who worked hard to bring the routine life back.
