Today Prince Charles of Wales is turning 70. Ahead of his 70th birthday, Palace released two beautiful portraits of Wales Family.
Captured by Cambridge favourite Chris Jackson, who is married to Catherine’s stylist Natasha Archer, in the gardens of Clarence House in September this year, the pictures show a relaxed family atmosphere.
In the pictures, Prince George is sitting in his grandfather Prince Charles’ lap, while Charlotte is sitting with Duchess of Cornwall smiling at the cameras.
The pictures gave us the first clear look at our cute little baby Prince Louise, since his christening in July.
just a few days ago we saw another portrait of Catherine holding her son Louis who is giggling at his Grandpa Wales.
I have always believed that Louis is a blessing for William and Catherine. Since they announced their third pregnancy last year, the couple radiates the happiness and contentment.
The moment they stepped out of Lindo WIng holding their third baby, there was a change in Catherine’s body language.
Since returning from her maternity leave we have seen a new surge of confidence and regalness in Catherine. She is glowing and her stance shows the happiness she is having back at her home.
And that’s why she has a special bond with her third child who even looks like her. While George has a resemblance to his maternal grandfather Michael Middleton and Charlotte gives the glimpses of Young Queen Elizabeth, its Louis who looks like kiddo Kate.
To mark the milestone of his life, Prince Charles allowed unprecedented access to Google’s Street View as he opened his homes – Clarence House and Highgrove. Viewers can take a ‘virtual tour’ of several rooms at the residences, having a detailed look at art, furnishings and interiors. Click here to take a tour of Clarence House.
It also gives a clear look at another portrait of Charles holding Prince George. This picture was taken at the christening of Prince George on October 23, 2013. I wish a very happy birthday to Prince Charles.
Today William and Catherine will visit South Yorkshire. In Rotherham, they will officially open McLaren Automotive’s new Composites Technology Centre before travelling to Barnsley’s local Centrepoint hostel. After lunch, the Duke and Duchess will visit Centrepoint’s new Andy Norman Learning Hub. In the evening, Queen Elizabeth will host a dinner for Prince Charles’ birthday at Buckingham Palace that will be attended by many European Royal Families.
