
Spanish Queen Letizia joined her husband King Felipe for the presentation of the 37th edition of “la Caixa” Scholarships in Madrid.

Since 1982, the Obra Social “la Caixa” annually announces a scholarship program aimed at students who want to expand their education through postgraduate studies, which offers support to young university talents in order to facilitate their progress in the scientific field, Research, mobility and professional qualification, keys for the development of people and of society as a whole.

120 selected students received financial aid to pursue postgraduate studies in the best universities around the world.

Students have options of choosing best academic institutes from various countries of Europe, North America (the United States and Canada) and the Asia-Pacific area (Australia, China, Singapore, Japan, India and South Korea).

King Felipe and Queen Letizia presented the scholarships to the students. The scholarship covers the entire cost of tuition, which is entered in the currency of the country of destination.

For the day, keeping her look economically low key while at the same time high on the style end, Queen Letizia chose Spanish Label Zara. Letizia wore a Textured Inverted Collar Vest.

The $90 waistcoat features inverted lapels, flap pockets, and a metal hook fastening in the front. The vest is available on Zara Stores and online.
